Meet the BSU E-Board
Introducing the Black Student Union President. My name is Vyvyana Woolridge and I am a fourth year who is studying for both a African American Studies major and a Chicano Studies major. In my free time I love to read, paint, and bake. I am striving to become a college professor and teach English and Ethnic Studies. I would love to utilize this job as an opportunity to break down the colonized mindset and Eurocentric perspective that most students view the world in. My goal for BSU is to create a platform for Black students to express themselves creatively and feel heard while being in an institution that has historically silenced our voices for too long.
